Family Empowerment & Support
Bonnicare Foundation is dedicated to supporting rural communities by improving their living environment, supporting them with foodstuff and assisting them through livelihood training, skill acquisition and support fund to get them started.
Over the years, we’ve established three (3) small table markets specifically for women in rural communities to help sustain their families. By giving them a startup fund at zero interest and purchasing their first stock for them, the initiative provided a platform for self reliance.
Thanks to a generous sponsor, an underprivileged family has received a monthly allowance for over a year through our foundation. This support has helped them regain stability, and we’ve also taken care of their children’s education and well-being through donations received from social media.
To uplift families in need, we launched the Family Empowerment/Support Project. We identify homes in poor conditions due to financial constraints and make small improvements like changing doors, plastering walls, or repairing windows. So far, we’ve renovated two living spaces with basic living essential items worth over four hundred thousand naira.
Our latest project is the building of a two (2) bedroom flat for a family of four (4) through donations gotten from social media.
